Stefano Pioli is considering using Luka Romero on the right wing instead of Samuel Chukwueze for the upcoming match against Atalanta, according to a report. The absence of Rafael Leao on the left wing has led Pioli to potentially move Christian Pulisic into that position. This creates an opening on the right side of the attack, with Chukwueze being the frontrunner for the role. However, Romero, who is not registered to play in the Champions League, is in need of minutes in Serie A
So far, he has only played 85 minutes across four games this season. While it is unlikely that Romero will be chosen over Chukwueze, Pioli is said to be exploring the possibility. It is possible that the Argentine could make an appearance from the bench during the match against La Dea on Saturday evening.
