Samsung is continuing its push to release the Android 14/One UI 6 update to as many devices as possible before the year ends. The latest devices to receive the update are the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and the Galaxy A13 5G. Samsung has been prioritizing budget smartphones for the Android 14 update, with the Galaxy A14 5G being one of the first to receive it. Now, its predecessor, the Galaxy A13 5G, joins the list
Unfortunately, it seems that the LTE version of the Galaxy A13 will not be getting the update at this time. Interestingly, the Android and One UI version on the recently announced Galaxy A15 has not been officially mentioned, but it is confirmed to be running Android 14 and One UI 6 out of the box. The A15 also stands out with its eligibility for four generations of OS upgrades, twice that of the A13 and A14. If you own a Galaxy A13 5G and the update has been released in your country, you can download One UI 6 over the air from the phone's settings menu. The update is around 1.4GB in size, so it is recommended to have a Wi-Fi connection or a mobile data plan with sufficient bandwidth.
