Last year, Japanese tuner Liberty Walk made waves online with their custom widebody Ferrari F40, sparking a heated debate about whether it was right to modify such an iconic car. Now, they're back at it again, this time with the legendary Lamborghini Countach, at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon. Although we only have a teaser video to go by for now, it reveals the stunning widebody design of the Countach. Like they did with the F40, Liberty Walk gives the car a striking white exterior that showcases the transformative impact of the new parts on the Lamborghini's appearance. The front end of the modified Countach features a prominent front splitter and a lower fascia with a rectangular mesh covering three openings, giving the car a more angular and aggressive look. The fusion of canards and widened fender flares creates a seamless flow from the nose to the wheel well, adding a sleek and curvaceous element. Moving to the sides, Liberty Walk adds broader lower sills that flow between the widened fenders, emphasizing the dynamic nature of the design
Additionally, an opening has been introduced ahead of the rear wheels, further enhancing the car's visual appeal. The vents on the upper portion of the tail, adorned with body-color vertical strakes, suggest that this model is a modified 25th Anniversary Countach. Completing the exterior package are dark-colored, deep-dish Rohana Forged wheels with stylish Y-shaped spokes, paired with Toyo tires. Not shy to go big, Liberty Walk replaces the Countach's factory wing with an even larger one that attaches beneath the rear bumper. Flush-mounted taillights replace the inset lamps of the production version, while a massive diffuser underneath the quad exhaust adds a touch of motorsport-inspired aesthetics. It's safe to say that Liberty Walk's modifications to the F40 last year received mixed reviews from readers
Based solely on this teaser video, we can anticipate that their take on the Countach will continue to divide opinions.
