Connor Bedard, 18, has made history for the Blackhawks by becoming the youngest player to score an overtime winner in the team's history. The remarkable feat occurred in a game against the Winnipeg Jets, one of the NHL's top teams, where Bedard's goal secured a 2-1 victory for the Blackhawks. Bedard's achievement surpasses that of Patrick Kane, who held the previous record with a difference of nearly a whole year. Bedard's skills continue to impress, as he also becomes the third-youngest player in NHL history to score an overtime winner
The two players ahead of him are Sidney Crosby, who accomplished the feat at 18 years and 101 days old, and Jordan Staal, who did so at 18 years and 153 days old. Bedard reached this milestone at the age of 18 years and 163 days. For more updates on the Blackhawks' exciting moments, make sure to follow the Blackhawks Talk Podcast by clicking here.
